KOLAS Fee Schedule

There is no up front fee to you. All fee’s are taken out of your final check. Your fee’s include all eBay fee’s, PayPal fee’s, and KOLAS’ commission. A statement will be included with the check indicating each auction and the fee’s associated with it. eBay fee’s are payable whether or not your item(s) sell.

Whenever eBay offers us a sale price on fee’s, we do pass that amount on to you. You will always be charged exactly what eBay charges us.

Insertion Fee (IF): When an item is listed with eBay, we are charged an IF. This fee is based on the starting price of the auction. KOLAS cannot list anything under $9.99. This fee is payable regardless if item sells.

Exception To Above Insertion Fee (IF):

In the Books, Music, Movies, and Video Game Software categories, eBay has a different schedule for the fee’s They are as follows:

$10.00 - $24.99	$0.35

Final Value Fee (FVF): When the item sells, eBay charges a FVF. This fee is calculated per item sold, based on the final sale price of the item.

Final Sale Price	Final Value Fee
$0 - $25	8.75% of the closing value
$25 - $1,000	8.75% of the initial $25 ($2.19), plus 3.50% of the remaining closing value balance ($25.01 to $1,000)
Over $1,000	8.75% of the initial $25 ($2.19), plus 3.50% of the initial $25 - $1000 ($36.32), plus 1.50% of the remaining closing value balance ($1000.01 - closing value)

KOLAS commission: This is also based on the final selling price and is determined by totaling all your auctions together first, before assigning a percentage. KOLAS has never raised the commission fee’s since our inception, and, if fact, have lowered them.

$100 - $499.99	31% of the selling price.
Over $500.00	28% of the selling price.

PayPal Fee: KOLAS accepts online payment from PayPal, which includes payment from a checking account or credit card. For United States customers, PayPal charges 2.9% plus $0.30 per transaction for this service. For customers outside of the United States, the fee is 3.9% plus $0.30 per transaction. This percentage is based on the total amount the customer charges to PayPal.
